18 Foodie Secrets of Thailand!

We all know by now what is Thailand famous for; their amazing spicy and savory dishes, breathtaking islands and beaches, beautifully detailed temples, their fearless Muay Thai fighters, cultured floating markets and their infamous tourists partying hotspot, the Bangla Road in Patong.

Due to their wild nature (even though they are trained to stay in an enclosed space ), customers are only allowed to enter the premises in small numbers, thus making a long waiting line. This 3-floored cafe is immensely indulged into the Hello Kitty land. From decorations to the food served on the plates everything oozes Hello Kitty! If you are a true fan of the lovable human-kitty ( Yes! Hello Kitty is a human!), this is one cafe that you should never miss out on.


For your information, this place is actually a cafe, a shop and a spa! Talk about having it all!

The not-so-hidden gem of Thailand, Chocolate Ville, is actually one of the famous tourists spot. If you don’t mind the pricing, this place serves well brewed coffees and it’s an excellent place for photography. This mini wonderland covers about 25,000 sm around waterways and lakes, it is also free entrance! You only need to pay if you are ordering food.

A cafe-boutique opened by a local travel blogger – Punyupa. This cafe is simply based on her memories from travelling to Japan. From left to right, the whole cafe is decorated with merchandises and her own brand collections. Some even might call her a hoarder for her passion, but that’s the unlikely case. Perfect place to chill and enjoy snacks!

16. Mr.Bean Coffee Shop

Famously known for his slapstick performance, Mr.Bean has always been peoples’ favourite on screen tv programme since 1990. It isn’t a surprise that even in Thailand, they have a coffee shop dedicated to his series. From Teddy to the cartoonized version of the series, every detail is on point at here. The food here are just as delicious too!

17. Hajime Robot Restaurant

Have a robot to serve you a cup of coffee and dance just for you when its party time which happens to be every half an hour! Almost everything is digital here. If you are wondering, why is it named Hajime Robot Restaurant, it is actually just a Japanese steamboat-like restaurant based in Thailand. It isn’t a pricey place, considering there are a lot of mechanics going on here.

18. Audrey Cafe and Bistro

Want to have a luxury meal but can’t afford it? Don’t look any further than Audrey Cafe and Bistro! As glamorous as it sounds, it doesn’t come with a hefty bill to sign off. It is inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s with a fusion of a French Bistro. Their food presentation is on spot, however don’t expect too much of it taste wise. It would be wise if you didn’t expect it to be under Best Foods of Bangkok.

The ambient and setting however makes it a perfect place for dating, and if all goes well, apparently you can even use the venue for your wedding.
