In life, the best things often come as one; but every so often they can appear as a perfect pair, and such is the case with supercars. There has been plenty of buzz recently around the arrival of the first Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV (short for SuperVeloce, Italian for Super Fast) in Malaysia. But what could be better than one of these incredible SVs? Of course.. The answer can only be TWO of these Aventador LP750-4 SVs! This is an exclusive preview of the first two Aventador SVs in town, one having arrived early last week while the second one arrived in the middle of this week.  Finished in the signature shade of Rosso Bia (named by Lamborghini after the female Greek deity of force and raw energy), this pair of brand new Aventador SVs made for an absolutely stunning sight at Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur on this sunny morning.

Just like every Raging Bull to wear the hallowed SV badge before it, the Aventador SV is currently the highest expression of Lamborghini’s “Extreme, Uncompromising, Italian” ethos. It is conceived to be an Aventador with more of everything: more power, more dramatic styling, more dynamic handling, and a richer and rawer driving experience which challenges and rewards its lucky pilot in equal measure.

Its upgraded V12 engine now produces 740Bhp at 8400RPM, with torque remaining the same 509Ib-ft peaking at 5500RPM. Total weight has been dropped to 1520Kg thanks to the extensive usage of carbon fiber composite materials, including Lamborghini’s revolutionary CarbonSkin interior materials. Thus the optimised Power-to-Weight Ratio of 487Bhp/Ton leads the way to a 0-100Km/h time of just 2.8 seconds, and a maximum speed of over 350Km/h (217Mph), making it the fastest production Lamborghini yet.

To make the most of this increased performance, Lamborghini has also added refinements such as the MagneRide adaptive pushrod suspension, Dynamic Steering, and improved aerodynamics which include the 3-position adjustable rear wing resulting in an increase in downforce of 180% over the standard Aventador. These elements help to ensure that the LP750-4 SV is the most dynamically capable Lamborghini road car to date, and also equally at home on the open winding road as it is on the racetrack.

During tyre testing at the hands of Pirelli test driver Marco Mapelli, an Aventador SV even managed to achieve a Nurburgring lap time of 6 minutes and 59.73 seconds, becoming the first Lamborghini to lap the ‘Ring in under 7 minutes. Production of the Aventador LP750-4 SV is limited to 600 cars worldwide, along with 500 SV Roadsters.
