Dream Liner Airway Cafe is what avid fans of aviation had been waiting for. Not many get to experience in-flight dining, however this was made possible by Jonathan Lee, who is a pilot!
The 23-year-old, had always dreamt of opening a cafe like this for many years, and he successfully does it.
The themed cafe, serves their patrons with passport-like menu and orders are written on boarding-like pass. If that doesn’t trigger your aviation feel yet – waiters are also dressed up in cabin crew outfits. This is about to make the girls go wild.
At any one time, the cafe is able to hold up to 53 diners. Be sure to have your taste buds ready for their western, local and Korean dishes.
“I had looked for ideas on how to turn my dream into reality as I wanted to set up an establishment that would be different from others.”
He feels lucky that he had his elder brother’s support along with his two best friend and in the process became his business partners as well.
“I was inspired by a restaurant in China which operated from an old aeroplane.”
The cafe is open from 11am until 11pm daily, except Tuesdays.
According to Jonathan, he got the overhead compartments, aeroplane seats, windows, cubicles and other props custom-built in China.
