Man Was Rejected 80,000 Times But Continues To Look For A Wife Candidate

Love is hard to come by for some people, that is why many of us hold on to that special someone for as long as we can. A man recently became the headline for struggling to find a suitable wife candidate for many years and your ‘forever alone’ story don’t feel as bad as this man’s, okay?

The man, Niu Xiangfeng claimed to have asked roughly 80,000 women out in the past eight years, but he was rejected no less than 80,000 times.

The 31-year-old has been labeled as ‘man obsessed with dating’ because of his aggressive approach to finding a life partner.

He first became the headline in 2013, when his picture of him walking around Beijing while holding a signboard expressing his desire to find a wife went viral.

It is learned that his father passed away from cancer several years ago and since then he felt the need to get married and start a family.

However, it is not as expected. It has been 5 years since then, and he is still looking for a prospective wife.

Lately, Xiangfeng doesn’t walk around with the signboard anymore, but that doesn’t mean that he has given up.

He’s taken the effort to go on dating sites, talking to women in social media, and even on the road. He would ask them if they already had boyfriends and so on. In the end, he still gets rejected. Some say it is because he is trying too hard and his approach is too aggressive or desperate, but he has a different explanation.

He claimed that women these days are ‘not shy’ when they blatantly indicate they wanted to pick a romantic partner. Most of them prefer taller and handsome men who know how to sweet talk, in contrast to his short height and ugliness, only his honesty is attractive to women.

He added that money is also a big factor, as single women are now looking for wealthy men who are homeowners in the city.

“They say as men, you need to have a house, unfortunately, I do not.”

Recently, Xiangfeng’s story was featured in Chinese social media, Pear Video, where he claimed to have been rejected about 80,000 times over the past eight years.

Forget about how Xiangfeng sees himself as an unattractive man, think back on the number of times he’s been rejected, doesn’t it seem suspicious?

So to verify it, some news websites in China have found a way to ensure the truth whether he was really denied tens of thousands of times.

In an interview with ‘East Day’, Xiangfeng said that although he had never told ‘Pear Video’ that he had been rejected 80,000 times, their estimates were completely realistic.

He said, over the years he had sent messages to about 60,000 women online, most of them rejected him while others did not answer.

He may have approached at least 20,000 to 30,000 on the street, so being rejected 80,000 times may actually be true!

When asked whether he only wanted media attention, Xiangfeng said he had no interest in doing so. He said people who are looking for fame only want to promote their business or want to be an actor or celebrity.

His struggle so far has failed to attract the attention of women or social media users in China.

Feedback is generally negative, with some commentators saying that the man is not only short and ugly but does not understand the concept of dating.

Some even say his inability to find a partner has nothing to do with his appearance but has to do with his aggressive approach.

It’s like ‘Money can’t buy love’ Ask any women why they like certain men and the answer is; I don’t know – It’s just chemistry. On the contrary, I have seen love blossom in the most unexpected couples where I thought it wouldn’t and failures in those fairy-tale romance where it is supposed to last forever and ever.
So there is an element of fate and destiny which I believe. Your partner or wife or soulmate is already predetermined since the day you’re born. Like many things in life, it’s beyond our control.
