NEWLYWED COUPLE FROM SINGAPORE SHARES SOME OF THEIR HORRIBLE PHOTOS TAKEN BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER DURING THEIR WEDDING. STORY GOES VIRAL!
I think we can all truly agree with one another that weddings are one of the most magical and memorable moments in life for those who are getting married. Whether it be your wedding or your friend’s wedding, you’d probably expect a perfect day to go by. From the wedding plans, seating arrangements to the decorations. Every single thing has to go accordingly to plan.
It’s the perfect day to cherish with the ones you love, one of the ways to cherish those moments is through the photos taken during the wedding. Sometimes these photographers are amazingly talented in capturing the right moments at the right time but sometimes they just tend to capture some really awkward moments. Today we show you some of the really awkward photos by bringing you a hilarious story about how a couple had shared some of their horrible photos on Facebook that has since gone viral!
One the 10th of April, Facebook user by the name of Jaclyn Ying posted on her personal page some of the bad photos taken and edited by their wedding photographer. She had initially shared it with her friends and family, but ever since her posting her photos has garnered up to 15 thousand shares!
Naming the album ‘Wedding photography PSA‘, Jaclyn shares with what everybody probably would have felt if they have received these photos from their wedding. Looking at the photos she felt sorely disappointed at them, she even joked on the list of things to do when you received such horrible photos saying, “Get angry? Check. Shed a few tears over them? Done. Post some of the best (of the worst) on social media for amusement? Absolutely!”
She then continues to mention what had happened initially when she went to pick the wedding package alongside the photographer, “Here’s the lowdown – we got one of those “bao ka liao” wedding packages that included actual day photography from a pretty reputable bridal shop. Before we signed on, we were told that while we couldn’t choose our photographer, the standard of the talent pool was consistent. Naturally (and being Singaporean), we asked, “sure annot”. And were promptly shown a portfolio of actual day photos.”
When viewing the photo samples from the wedding package, they thought to themselves, “They looked alright, and so we signed on thinking, “okay la hor, how bad can they be.” but later did they know it was bad. Jaclyn hilariously describes it like, “first-date-and-you-clog-the-toilet-with-your-pangsai bad. Or, trust-a-fart-and-a-bit-of-poop-comes-out bad. (I’m not saying any of those things happened to me before)”
“Anyway, we’re looking for some redress from the shop at the moment, but nothing is going to take away the fact that our wedding photos by this dude are pretty much ruined. What’s more, he was our only “pro” photog for that day. This stag worked solo, man.”
“Don’t take this the wrong way though – this is not a flame and shame post. We just wanted to share some of these hilariously bad photos with everyone, so sorry ar if your unglam face is in this.”
Jaclyn also adds that she did not take the effort the do any extra editing to the photos, everything that she had posted where “as it is” when she first got it from the bridal shop. She adds that to all those who are going to get married soon and do not want the same photographer can come and ask her personally and privately.
Clearly this was not just some horrible photos but pretty hilarious too, I couldn’t stop laughing at them while at the same feeling bad for the newlywed couples for them. Look at it this way, on the bright side you have some pretty funny moments captured at the right time to showcase to your friends and maybe your kids one day if you plan to have any for some good laughs.
However, the photographer by the name of Chung Siew Goh, who took these photos came out today and had a few words to say. He states,
“I am the photographer on that day….. A couple long 10hrs hard work..for this couple. Edit 900 plus photo for them they use less than 20 pic to URGE not SATISFY wanted to refund cash paid ..but they already collected those photos NOW put up in media to show the whole world and spoil our Reputation which no REASON which not Fair to us..”
Note: The post has since been taken down.
sharing a few memorable photos that he took as well,
If his statements were true, to be fair, that was only about 20 bad photos among 900 as he allegedly stated. Plus the photo above was lovely but he shouldn’t have included the really awkward and half edited photos into the DVD. Whatever it is, it’s a good laugh for all of us and maybe even a lesson to be taken away from here. Be careful with the wedding photographers you choose.
Also we would like to congratulate both Jaclyn and her husband for getting married and may they have a prosperous life and journey together ahead of them.
