One Honest Man Sends A Letter Of Apology Along With A RM5 Note For A Debt He Had Since 2001!!!

This man’s action is totally commendable! Honesty is a moral character that not many possess in this day and age when there are many frauds lurking around.

But what one anonymous man did, left many netizens in soft-hearts. Apparently, this guy had taken a ride on the commuter to Bank Negara from Bangi station, but he and his friend got off at a later station (Putra) without paying the extra fee of RM1 per person.

What makes this amazing is that this incident did not happen like a year or two back, in fact, it happened 16 years back! That’s like time travelling, no?

I know for a fact that many of my own friends including myself can’t even remember a debt that is more than a month…and for this guy to remember it for 16 years and still clearing of his debt and conscience is just heartwarming, actually.

This man must really love being old-fashioned, not that it is a bad thing, as he posted a letter and an RM5 note in an envelope to the KTM office.

And the extra RM3 was meant for the person who receives this letter and responsibly passes it to the person who was related with this incident. I don’t know why, but I find this to be an adorable gesture!

What do you think of his gesture? Was it a praise able motive or a waste of effort?
