Woman Scammed After Providing Freelancer Girls To Work Part-Time At Bar

Everyone should be aware that scammers come in all shapes and sizes these days, they may be recruiting you for a suspicious job or offering you a too-good-to-be-true deal that you can’t say no to. But sometimes, only after going through the whole ordeal would we find ourselves a victim of a scam!

Just last month, a netizen whose Facebook moniker is Mo Na, took to social media to warn agents and freelancer girls of this scammer. She shared that several weeks ago, a man named Teo (with the phone number +601122772727) contacted her looking for part-timers (girls) to work at his place TREC, De Muzeum.

Teo claimed to be the owner of the restaurant and bar, he agreed to pay Mo Na RM200 per day for the girls’ salary with working hours from 8 pm – 2 am. He allegedly suggested that Mo Na pay the girls RM180 per day so she would earn 10% from their earnings!

According to the screenshots provided by Mo Na in her viral post, it is understood that payment would be done weekly and on the first day of the job some of the girls complained that they didn’t make good sales, but it’s a small issue to Mo Na.

Things took a turn for the worst when it’s time to give out the salary. She wrote:

“He kept pending the salary with tomorow n tomorow n tomorow promises. Even I’m asking the girls salary calculation also he kept saying with “OK” but never send me one.”

Teo eventually claimed he banked in the girls’ salary directly to all of them leaving Mo Na out, she said: “he didn’t think about my commission since the girls keep asking their salary.”

Hey, of course they would be bugging you for their salary, they have done their work, you should pay them!

She then proceeds to warn the public not to fall victim to the same scammer,

“Be careful, this guy promise at first time n reality is different. Not too sure if he’s the owner of De Muzeum or not since the way he talked is vague. Don’t know also if the De Muzeum boss know about this n it is how they manage the place or not. Just be careful!”

However, Mo Na found out that Teo had finally settled the girls’ salary with deductions because they did not complete the working hours. But he still did not pay Mo Na for her commission, giving the excuse of not knowing about her commission.
