[HEARTBREAKING STORY] A Wonderful Loyal Dog Follows A 3km Funeral Procession And Refuses To Move Away From The Burial Of The Owner!!!

A male dog followed the entire funeral procession which was a 3km journey to reach the burial grounds.

Everyone, do prepare your tissues for this one…

Just 3 days ago on March 3rd, Leong Khai Wah posted on his Facebook a touching story of a dog and his fallen owner. In his caption, he said that this dog was probably one of the most amazing and loyal dogs that he has ever seen at Kampung Air Jernih, Terengganu.

According to Leong, the male dog followed the entire funeral procession which was a 3km journey to reach the burial grounds. And from the video that was recorded, the dog was seen running the whole way to be able to catch up with the hearse.

The poor dog doesn’t even look like he was physically capable of running even a kilometre, in my point of view. Clearly, a dog’s love and loyalty to his best friend show no bounds!

What is even more heartbreaking is that as soon as they reached the burial ground, the dog just refused to move away from the late owner and he just laid down beside his most beloved person’s burial.

In another video, the dog was seen laying itself flat beside the dug up ground where the late owner will be placed in. It obvious, that he did not want to leave that spot, but when a female lady called it to come over to her, it only listened and obeyed for a few seconds and he quickly went back to the spot.

It really breaks my heart, and I’m sure many other animal lovers’ hearts too, to see this “child” who just wants to be with his owner till the end of time. This dog really reminds me of Hachiko’s story. 🙁

But in all of this… it does make one think, why didn’t the rest of the procession give the poor dog a ride rather than letting the poor furkid to run that long distance…

Anyways, may the deceased soul rest in peace and hope that this wonderful doggie also finds peace.
