If you have ever driven through the roads in Lucky Garden, Bangsar, you’d notice that getting your car to move is impossible, let alone finding a parking spot. Chances are, the cars are there for one thing – curry.
In a simple looking stall at a corner, lies Bangsar Fish Head Corner, well known for Anuar’s Fish Head Curry. It is hard to miss, as it is filled with hungry customers especially during lunch time.
It has been a while since we had our taste of Anuar’s delicious curry, but a recent article on The Star has reminded us of his irresistible curry. We can almost taste the curry, cooked using a South Indian cooking style, as we write the article.
Newcomers to the place might not find the place impressive, aside from the fish head curry and an equally delicious fried chicken, theres only fried fish and squid, or some stir-fried bean sprouts.
The staff will usually choose the fish for you, depending on its size and the number of people dining. If you want however, you can also pick it yourself. The fish served here include mackerel and red snapper, and may vary from RM20 to RM80.
Located at No 2 Lorong Ara Kiri 3, Lucky Garden, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Anuar’s Fish Head Curry operates from 8am until 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
