Taiwanese actress Celia Zhang says she did not receive any money or gifts from Datuk Mohd Nazifuddin Najib during their outing in Taiwan.
In a post on her Facebook page Saturday, a spokesman from Zhang’s management agency said the actress, as the host for the evening footed the bills for the two of them.
“Zhang does not want the issue to be prolonged further and asks everyone not to worry,” she wrote in Chinese.
The spokesperson added that Zhang had taken note of the comments on her Facebook page and thanked them for their “kind intentions”.
