A solemn mood clouds over Malaysia as thousands of eggs were sacrificed on a highway after a car rammed into the rear of a lorry transporting the delicate goods on April 2. In case you didn’t get it, ‘liquid chicken’ is a reference to eggs as they are chickens but still not in a solid state, therefore – liquid chicken!
According to The Star, the incident reportedly occurred on the North-South Expressway near Kuala Muda, Kedah.
The incident was recorded by another driver showing a white Hyundai Veloster swerving lanes unnaturally before crashing into the back of a lorry which saw thousands of eggs cracked and splattered all over the highway.
The 31-second long video has gotten over 355,000 views and more than 2,400 shares at the time of writing.

North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor said the 26-year-old Hyundai driver is believed to have dozed off before hitting the lorry at about 9 am.
The white car was going from the right lane to the left lane and looked like it was about to crash directly into the back of the lorry before the driver made a last-ditch attempt to avoid the lorry by steering right.
Unfortunately, he rammed into the right rear of the lorry, causing it to lose control and eventually hit the road divider.
Asst Comm Noorzainy added both drivers escaped unharmed,
“The vehicles were heading north when the incident happened. Both drivers were sent to the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sungai Petani for treatment.”
He also said that police will be investigating further to find out the cause of it.
Several netizens who saw the viral video has since urged road users to honk if they ever suspect that another driver on the road could be dozing off as it can potentially save lives.
