Guardiola Predicting Lionel Messi To Move To England!!!

Manchester City and former Barcelona manager, Pep Guardiola is hoping that Lionel Messi will remain at Barcelona to end his career but a move to England for the Argentine is not impossible.

The Spaniard also suggest that he would be among the many suitors to sign Lionel Messi if he were to ever leave the Catalan club.

Lionel Messi played an important role and contributed a lot when Barcelona won all kinds of major silverware such as the Champions league and La Liga title when he played under Pep Guardiola.

However, Guardiola denied approaching any of his former players especially from Barcelona and claims that Lionel Messi may be seeking for a new challenge at some point of his career.

“I didn’t call Leo Messi because my greatest wish is for him to finish his career here.”

“So he can play many years here, because this is the best place for him to stay.”

“But eventually, one day, the kid may decide to play elsewhere. Maybe because he wants his sons to learn English or to live a new experience, like it has happened to many of us in the past. That is a possibility.”

“But if one day he decides to do so, and I wish it won’t happen, but if it happens there will be a list of four, five people and clubs wanting to sign him.”

“”But you know who is going to decide that? It will be him. It won’t be me, if I want to sign him, or anybody else. It will be the decision of Leo Messi.”

“I am playing against Barcelona and their best player is Lionel Messi.”

“I am happy he has recovered from his injury and is able to play. It is always a pleasure, and a satisfaction to see him play.” Guardiola said.
