An Asian American family from New Jersey is trusting web-based social networking site (Facebook) in order to convey justice for the terrible loss of their canine and damage brought on to their child.
Andrew Huang and his significant other Daisy described how their 13-year-old girl and family puppy turned into lamentable casualties in a Facebook post.
The vehicle, later recognized by observers and stated by Andrew Huang as “a 2007-2009 grey/champagne-colored Ford Expedition”, hurried away as Huang’s girl lay sprawled in the streets, clearly bleeding along with her then dying puppy named Panda. As indicated by the post, the episode occurred on May 10 at 6:18 p.m. close to the Huang’s home in Cranbury, New Jersey. Below is the video that is attached to Huang’s Facebook post.
In their open Facebook request that was posted on Monday, the family expressed that they are looking for any information regarding the car and driver who hit their girl and her puppy.
I’m reaching out to all of you in the hopes that the power of social media can help my family solve a horrific crime.
This video contains footage from my home security system moments before my 13-year-old daughter was struck by a hit and run driver in Cranbury, NJ around 6:18pm on May 10th, as well as the excruciating aftermath that my family, including my three younger children, suffered. I was not home at the time and this footage is painful for me to watch. I wish I could have been there and done something…
The driver hit my daughter, leaving her bleeding and unconscious on the road, killed our dog, and fled the scene of the crime.
Please share and help spread the word that this driver is still on the loose — witnesses say he was a white male with a beard, driving a 2007-2009 grey/champagne-colored Ford Expedition.
If you know someone who fits this description (or who may have shaved his beard or changed his appearance recently), or know anyone who owns body shops, car washes, junk yards, etc. and might have seen or encountered this vehicle, please call the Cranbury Police Department as soon as possible at 609-395-0031.
In a report on Thursday, the Huangs included that they will incorporate a reward for the individuals who can help them make clear of the wrongdoing:
I’m offering a $5K CASH reward to whomever has information that leads to his arrest and conviction.
Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey now says cash rewards are being offered to anyone who wants to provide information anonymously and to contact Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County Inc. via phone or website:
– PHONE: 1-800-939-9600
– WEBSITE: middlesextips.com
– TEXT MESSAGE: text 274637 (CRIMES) with the keyword ‘’midtip’’ followed by a message
You can see with the amount of money he has offered, he is clearly hurt by the incident. For those who can relate, I hope you that you can help spread the news of the killing and bring justice to the loss this family had to suffer!
