As the United States is preparing to welcome their new president Donald Trump, a family in Iraq, prepared to welcome a new addition to their family.
The family decided to name their son Trump Hassan Jamil, in honor of president-elect Donald Trump.
The boy’s father, 24-year-old Hassan Jamil, who is a Peshmerga soldier, believes that the president-elect will keep his promise to support the Kurdish forces as they fight against the Islamic State.
“I called him Trump because Donald Trump is charismatic and has clear policies. That’s why he won the election,” Jamil said.
According to newly released data from BabyCenter, the number of babies named Donald has increased by eight percent.
A couple of South Carolina, gave birth to twins at the Myrtle Beach’s Grand Strand Medical Center, and they named one twin Donald and the other Trump.
“Donald Trump is a bright, wealthy, successful man with strong moral values that represents what America is all about,” Latifa Huxley said.
The father of the babies, Damian Huxley, said: “Trump is a man of his word and we believe him when he says that he will make America great”
