Mahathir : “ You Can Move A Vote of No Confidence or You Can Move A Vote of Confidence ” – Hints At Cabinet Reshuffle

Dr Mahathir Mohamad is unperturbed by rumours of attempts to remove him as prime minister through a no-confidence vote in the Dewan Rakyat.

“You want to do anything, do it, you’re free,” he told reporters after chairing a PPBM Supreme Council meeting here.

“We’re a democratic country. You can move a vote of no confidence or you can move a vote of confidence,” the prime minister said.

A flurry of political commentators had called for Mahathir to make way for PKR president Anwar Ibrahim, following Pakatan Harapan’s disastrous outing at the Tanjung Piai by-election on Nov 16.

Barisan Nasional’s Wee Jeck Seng won the by-election by an overwhelming majority of 15,086 votes, in the ruling coalition’s worst electoral defeat since coming to power last year.

Meanwhile, Mahathir denied he was behind PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali’s meeting with a group of BN MPs on Monday night.

“Maybe I’m a dictator, but I didn’t dictate this time,” he said.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad says he is considering a Cabinet reshuffle, following a meeting with top leaders from PPBM today.

The prime minister said it could happen before the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit next year, but added a reshuffle would not solve all of the government’s problems.

“I have heard their opinions and I’m considering, but the decision is not going to be made today or tomorrow, but after we have analysed and studied the performance of the current ministers.

“After that we’ll discuss the possibility of a Cabinet reshuffle,” he said at a press conference after chairing a PPBM Supreme Council meeting at its headquarters here.

No Tun, you yourself should accept failure and let go. Age does have some adverse effects. You tend to listen more than doing your own appraisals like before. Dont make it difficult to others to say humilating words and to announce that you should go. You are not focussing these days on current issues but more concerned about a boring longstanding issue, the Palestine. You cannot do anything for Palestine other than making annoying statements and for which the rakyat suffer. You took sides between Pakistan and India. Why so keppo? Now you have aggrevated 2 giants. Because of these issues you cannot focus on local issues that needs to be urgently addressed and promised during your election campaign. I am sure foreign dignatories are reading our blogs to know how Malaysians dont favour you anymore. Being stubborn is not to your benefit.

As I mentioned before, the population crtitcally lacks education. You have a dumbo Minister who develops focuses on irrelevant issues. This free food issue is going to be a massive food poisioning someday and also a chance to siphon money out. Maybe BERSATU is looking for funds. Rosmah did it for national service training. Zahid did it to bring in 1.5M Banglas and collect commissions. Now you repeat the whole process by providing for free food at schools..this corruption will never stop dear Tun. You know we do not have a sustaining but a lazy culture and therefore dirty utensils etc. will be used to create bacteria growth. You encourage segregtion as the affordables will send their kids to other schools.

The students who suffer are the poor ones who will be getting sick all the time. Mostly Malays.

We already know the non performing Ministers but because of your age you need to wait further to make a decision.

Tun, let the PH flow. Be honest, keep your commitment to the people and ANWAR and stop this talk that we are not ready for a new Prime Minister or ANWAR is not capable. Its GOD who judges not you or Tun Daim. Anwar went thru a learning process, he does like to listen and in most cases its good. Unlike you who dont and made many financial mistakes finally losing by-elections.

Dont trust people who bend down and kiss you hand and like to be standing beside you and welcoming you. Most of them Tun are hypocrates or uneducated. They do the same with that kleptocrat thief too. I repeat we lack education and clown Maslee is miserable in providing the opportunities. Just see how our MPs argue in Parliment and will give you a clear picture of our education levels.

Anyway thats my piece. Tts not you who should judge anyone, please remember, its the Almighty.

Just let go Tun. Let Muhkriz find his way. At least he wont be encountered with your current performance.

    Cheers!
