An anonymous businessman is offering RM100,000 to anyone who can bring financier Low Taek Jho, or Jho Low, back to Malaysia.
This was revealed by Kepong member of parliament Lim Lip Eng today.
“Recently, a businessman called me up and met me at my office to make the (RM100,000) offer.
“I hope the offer will ensure Low is tracked down and brought back to the country as soon as possible,” he told reporters after witnessing a handing over of contributions for Tabung Harapan Malaysia here.
According to a report by Bloomberg on June 7, Jho Low is wanted for questioning in a graft probe involving former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and state fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
The report quoted sources as saying that an arrest warrant has been issued against Low.
