Rude Bus Driver Tells Man Off For Bringing OKU Mother On The Bus

It’s common knowledge to be respectful to one another. Treating everyone, including strangers, with grace and civility without prejudice is a must!

However, some still fail to have basic human manners, just like this bus driver’s unacceptable behavior towards a man and his disabled mother.

Mikhail Adam took to Facebook to lament about the encounter he and his disabled mother experienced. The post has gone viral with over 14,000 shares. His post reads,

“The story goes like this; we were on a bus that was going to leave for Johor from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) when my mum, a disabled person (OKU), wanted to go to the toilet. So, I politely asked the bus driver’s permission to bring my mum to the toilet.”

“The reason I asked for permission is because I didn’t want to be left behind by the bus if I went to the toilet without the driver’s knowledge.”

However, shockingly, the bus driver reacted in a rude manner toward Mikhail and his poor mum. He continued,

“The bus driver uncivilly replied, ‘You can bring your mother to the toilet but if you’re late, I’ll leave you here. I’m in a rush and next time, refrain from bringing your old parents on buses because you cause discomfort to everyone by bringing them along’.”

Angered by the driver’s remarks, Mikhail was quick to fire back at the man’s insensitive comments against them, which led to a quarrel between the two men.

Eventually, Mikhail managed to take his mother to the toilet but after that, as the mother-son duo were getting on the bus again, the petty bus driver suddenly accelerated, causing Mikhail’s sickly-old mum to fall off the bus!

The unhappy Mikhail insisted that the owner of the bus company and the Ministry of Transport Malaysia should take the necessary actions on the insolent driver.

We understand that bus drivers are often in a rush since they have a time schedule to follow, but it doesn’t hurt nor does it take up your life to be nice to your passengers.

As stated OKU personal on board and as courtesy, the driver should be polite and helpful to bring any passengers to toilet as rather than to dirty the bus. This driver must serve with disciplinary actions as objective is safety and better services to passengers. No senses and the company concerned to forego this incident, then this bus company license can be removed.

Sadly to say its been going on for ages.more sadly its more rampant with the malay drivers, no discrimination against them but thats the reality.
Like wise all the staff at tbs is at the mercy of bus operators.late bus and buses not reaching their destination is a norm.reporting to spad is useless.hope the relevant authorities will take a serious view and revamp the whole system

The driver should be sacked. He is not fit to be a bus driver as his attitude sucks and such incidents will repeat. He should change career to a lorry driver instead where he doesn’t need to serve customers.

by accelerating the bus, the driver has intention to cause harm to an OKU. This should be viewed seriously , as causing hurt violence. Bring this matter to attention of the new Transport minister for action.
