Rosmah Had To Give Up On Her Dream and Ambition After Marrying Najib

Becoming the wife of a Prime Minister is not all rainbows and butterflies as it seems – despite being portrayed as one with infinite access to luxuries one can only dream of, there are sacrifices to be made, at least according to Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

Becoming the wife of a Prime Minister is not all rainbows and butterflies as it seems – despite being portrayed as one with infinite access to luxuries one can only dream of, there are sacrifices to be made, at least according to Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

According to a story by Sinar Online, she revealed that she had sacrificed much after getting married to Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Being married to a Prime Minister means there were a lot of things that she could no longer do, but also mentioned that she believes this to be God’s will.

“After I got married to Datuk Seri Najib, there were a lot of things that I couldn’t do and could never do.”

“As the wife of a country leader, I submit to God. As what the white people would call ‘destiny’… fated to be wed to a country leader,”, she said during a guest interview on Bernama Radio’s ‘Langit Biru’ programme.

Additionally, she said she had to give up her career ambitions.

“Obviously I wished to be successful in my own field at the moment. My parents supported me to study the best that I could, as high as I could, and hoped to see their daughter to achieve success in her career.”

The controversial wife of the Prime Minister urged current generation not to take things for granted, and to waste their time on luxury and pleasures one can easily access to these days. She also reminded the young to love the country and in time, it will grow to become a great nation.
