On December 29, Cherry Yeong posted on her Facebook what she thinks is a fake food. According to the post, her mother went to a nearby grocery store and bought some fried tofu skin, which we, Malaysians, know it as Fu Chok.
When she went back home to prepare the meal, she realised that the tofu was not softening even after boiling it for some time. Instead, she discovered that these tofu sheets were stretching and not easily tearing apart like how it would normally.
She even demonstrated how the tofu sheets stretched in a short video clip further validating that this dried tofu could be a fake food production or in another way claiming that the food is mixed with plastic making dangerous for human’s consumption.
