The average age of having sexual intercourse for the first time for Malaysians, 23, is among the highest around the world. The “Face of Global Sex Report 2012” by Durex said that young people in Malaysia on average would encounter their first sexual experience at 23.

39% of Malaysian women confessed that they have cheated on their partners before in the poll which covered 29,000 in 36 countries.
The Malaysian women came third behind Ghana (62 per cent) and Thailand (59 per cent) in the worldwide survey carried out by condom producer Durex. In fourth and fifth place were Russia (33 per cent) and Singapore (19 per cent) respectively.

12. MALAYSIAN WOMEN ARE OBLIGATED TO HAVE SEX WITH THEIR HUSBANDS, EVEN IF ON A CAMEL
A recent Malaysian fatwa claims (religious edict) that women are obligated to meet their husband’s sexual demands, even if they are on a camel. The controversial fatwa is attributed to Perak Mufti Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria as reported by Malay Mail Online in the context that once married and the dowry is paid, Muslim women, “can’t refuse unless when she’s [on her] period.”According to the Malaysian cleric, a Muslim woman has “no right” to reject her husband’s call for sex and a man has the right to force himself on her.
13. MALAYSIANS HAVE SEX AVERAGELY 83 TIMES A YEAR
The survey showed that the average Malaysian has sex 83 times a year, compared with the worldwide average of 103 times. Although lower than the average global frequency of 103 times, Malaysians are by no means the least amorous. The Japanese do it only 45 times a year, and Singaporeans 73 times.
14. 44% OF MALAYSIANS HAVE CONFESSED TO HAVING SEX IN THE TOILET
Of the 5,409 Malaysians who responded to the survey, 44% claimed they have had sex in the loo. The second and third favoured spots are the car (38%) and parents’ bedroom (24%).
15. “I’M TIRED” IS THE LEADING EXCUSE USED TO AVOID SEX
When they want to avoid sex, the top excuse used by Malaysians is “I’m tired” (32.6%).

Nineteen years, three months and 18 days is the average age at which Malaysians lose their virginity nowadays, revealed the 2004 Durex Global Sex Survey.
17. 40% OF MALAYSIANS PRACTICE UNPROTECTED SEX
Almost four out of 10 Malaysians who responded to a worldwide survey admitted engaging in unprotected sex without knowing their partner’s sexual history. Those aged between 16 and 24 are taking even greater risks, according to the Durex Global Sex Survey 2005.

According to Durex 2005 Global Sex Survey , 9% of Malaysians have had threesomes, 19% have experienced the pleasure/pain of anal sex and 29% have had one night stands.

According to The Star , The Star’s R.AGE youth platform questioned several people online, including a university student who offered his companionship in return for a RM400 monthly allowance for sexual favours. Data from one of the websites shows that almost 50% of its sugar babies were college students .
20. THERE ARE ROUGHLY AROUND 150,000 PROSTITUTES IN MALAYSIA
According to Malaysian Digest , about 10,000 to 20,000 of them in the Klang Valley alone.
