Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte states that it is not important for the team to look at the table following their forth successful Premier League win.
The Italian asks his players to not look at the Premier League table until after Christmas as they secured an important win against Southampton.
The Blues have now gone 410 minutes and they have seen Diego Costa and Eden Hazard who have struggled to score a goal last season, returned to their best form this season as Chelsea are set to recover from last season’s embarrassment.
“At this moment, its not important for us to look at the table. We are in a good position, but its not important. Its more important to work very hard and trust the work will improve us. Game by game I’m seeing a lot of possibilities. I have confidence because we can improve a lot.”
“The only way that we must know now is to continue to work. Not look at the table. If you ask me a prediction or an expectation of our championship, now its very difficult to talk about this. ”
“Its important to pass many games, particularly in the first part of this season and then you can see if you can stay up there in the title race. Then, when you start the second part, our ideas will be clearer.”
“We are working a lot. I’m seeing a lot of positive things in the team. We are not looking at the table, but continuing just to work.” Conte said.
