Sultan Selangor : Stop Calling Muhyiddin Yassion Perikatan Nasional A ‘Backdoor Government’ – “The Back Door” Or A Power Grab Were Inaccurate“

The Selangor sultan has called on the people to stop referring to the Perikatan Nasional (PN)-led federal administration as a “backdoor government”.

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the Selangor state legislative assembly’s third sitting of its 14th session, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah said claims that the new government was formed through “the back door” or a power grab were inaccurate.

“The Yang di-Pertuan Agong has been given the power to use his discretion as provided for by the law,” he said, adding that he has been carefully following the political developments.

Critics of the new government, including Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders, had labelled PN a “backdoor government” which did not receive the mandate of the people.

PN took federal power after a week of political turmoil which saw Dr Mahathir Mohamad resign as prime minister, bringing PH’s rule to an end.

Muhyiddin Yassin was appointed as the eighth prime minister after Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah held audiences with each of the country’s 222 MPs.

Sultan Sharafuddin said he did not want any of the state’s assemblymen to harbour intentions of wrecking havoc on the administration, but to instead strive towards ensuring political stability in the state.

“Even though the Selangor state government is led by PH, in the interest of the continued economic development and well-being of the people of Selangor, I hope for close cooperation between the Selangor government and the federal government.”

He added that he did not want to see the people of Selangor left behind in matters of economic and social development due to political differences.

Sultan Sharafuddin said he was aware that the royalty should not be seen as directly involved in political matters, in line with parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy system.

“Nevertheless, as the sultan of my state, I am responsible for advising all members (of the state assembly) against irresponsible actions which can bring harm to my people.”

Backdoor Government, Backdoor Government, Backdoor Government, Backdoor Government…1,000 Times A Day

And long after Muhyiddin Yassin is no longer prime minister and PM9, PM10 and PM11 take over, Pakatan Harapan will still be repeating “Backdoor government, backdoor government, backdoor government, backdoor government, backdoor government, backdoor government,” 1,000 times a day.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Before GE14 in May 2018, Pakatan Harapan was suffering from a serious case of gila babi. Over 21 months up to 29th February 2020, Pakatan Harapan suffered from a serious case of gila kuasa. Now, since 1st March 2020, Pakatan Harapan has been suffering from a serious case of gila talak.

The gilaness of Pakatan Harapan never ends. It just gets worse. And at each stage of this game of thrones they enter into the next level of gilaness — gila babi, gila kuasa, then gila talak.

The symptoms of this gilaness is the fantasy that they live in. They are imagining things and see what is not there. The entire scenario before them is a mirage but they see it as real. That is because they have lost touch with reality and live in world of their own, which is mere smoke and mirrors.

To feed this insanity they keep repeating the mantra that the Perikatan Nasional government is a backdoor government. They know this is not true but it makes them feel good and offers them comfort by saying so.

To give them hope, in living up to the name Harapan, and to avoid from committing suicide, they tell themselves that on 18th May 2020 they are going to be back in power. If they do not do this, and if they lose hope, they would slash their wrists to end their misery of no longer being in power.

What they cannot accept, and which is eating away inside them like maggots in a month-old corpse, is that fact that their downfall is due to their own stupidity. They thought by attacking Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in that presidential council meeting they could force his resignation and replace him with Anwar Ibrahim. They never imagined in a million years that Mahathir would resign and bring down the Pakatan Harapan government together with him.

To add insult to injury, they were forced to crawl on their hands and knees and beg Mahathir to withdraw his resignation and continue as prime minister until he breathes his last breath. But before Mahathir could say yes, Muhyiddin Yassin stole the march by getting sworn in as Malaysia’s eighth prime minister.

A disaster had now turned into a catastrophe and Pakatan Harapan cursed the day they were born. But it was too late. The rice had turned to porridge and there was no way you can turn it back into padi.

So they sit on their sorry backsides and keep repeating, “Backdoor government, backdoor government, backdoor government, backdoor government, backdoor government, backdoor government,” 1,000 times a day as penance for their stupidity.
