Syed Saddiq Insists Missing RM250k Isn’t Linked To Affair With Mystery Woman

Word on the street has it that approximately RM250k was stolen from Syed Saddiq’s home in Petaling Jaya last Saturday (28th March).

The former Youth and Sports Minister announced that he has lodged a police report and an investigation is currently being carried out by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

The Muar MP stated that the huge sum of cash, which was kept in a steel safe box, was last seen either on 13th or 14th March. He also took to Instagram to address the issue in a lengthy post. Ever since the story broke, there have been a ton of speculations swirling around the internet.

Here’s his explanation:

“If it is true that it is illicit money, why should we report it? I am aware that a MACC report was made and understand MACC’s duties in investigating all allegations and reports. I will provide full cooperation in assisting the MACC investigation.”

That’s not all, a series of bedroom pictures have also been “leaked” online. In the pictures, we see a shirtless Syed Saddiq sleeping beside a fully-clothed mystery woman. Is that his girlfriend? Or maybe a hook up? Netizens have been coming with their own conclusions.

When asked if the missing money had anything to do with an affair with an unknown woman, Syed Saddiq denied it. “This is a slander to bring down the reputation of my family and myself. I will not compromise on integrity and will ensure that my family and I fully cooperate in assisting the police and the MACC. I hope everyone stops speculating and gives the authorities the opportunity to investigate,” he said.

Syed Saddiq: Sex video scandal ‘stealing’ nation’s time, productivity

He urged the nation’s youth to turn away from the escalating scandal and political gossip, saying they should redirect their focus to their personal work and contributions to the country’s progress.

“Our time that is ‘stolen’ by the sex scandal and cheap politics is time that we ‘owe’ to building a progressive Malaysia.

“The youth are disgusted,” he wrote on Twitter.

Syed Saddiq rubbishes allegations he was at Puchong ‘private party’

Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has denied allegations that he was present at a “private drug party” in Puchong recently.

Syed Saddiq added that the content in a report published by the Johor Press dated Jan 17 was false and had damaged his reputation as a minister.

Mystery woman sitting next to Syed Saddiq sets tongues wagging

A woman who sashayed into the office of Malaysia’s Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has diverted some attention away from the incessant squabbling in Malaysian politics.

A video clip of the woman, whose name is unknown, boldly walking into the 26-year-old minister’s office, has been widely shared on social media, setting tongues wagging.

After leading several men into the minister’s office, the woman in the video, wearing a peach-coloured baju, placed her pink Prada bag on the table right in front of him.

She then sat down beside him for a scheduled meeting in his office.

The handsome Syed Saddiq, who is still single, is considered one of Malaysia’s most eligible bachelors, while the woman has remained a complete mystery.

Is she the minister’s new personal assistant? His girlfriend? A media personality?

Naughty comments were also made on social media on whether she is in fact a transgender person.

The video and pictures of the meeting, and of them standing next to one another after the meeting have been widely shared.

Mr Syed Saddiq said on Tuesday (Oct 22) that it was “gossip and slander” to link her to him.

Syed Saddiq Admit Viral Clubbing Disco Pictures Is Him – Admits He Is Not A Perfect Muslim

Bersatu Youth ChiefSyed Saddiq, Asia’s best debater and fierce critic of Prime Minister Najib Razak, has admitted to having been to a disco, but says he is not a “kaki clubbing” (avid clubber).

In a Facebook post on Saturday, the 23-year old student admitted that he was indeed the person captured in the picture and also said that he has been to discos in the past.

“I wont deny that,” said Syed Saddiq.

He also revealed that the picture was taken during the announcement for the knockout stages of the Asia level debate championship.

“I am not a flawless human being. I am also not a flawless Muslim. I, like every other human have made mistakes,” said Syed Saddiq.

He added that the past however did not define who he is now.

“I admit that it is indeed me in the picture. I have been to a disco. I won’t deny that. But I also would like to stress that the picture was taken during the announcing of the knock-out rounds for an Asia-level debate competition.

“I am not a ‘kaki clubbing or kaki disko’ as alleged,” he said on the post, carrying the #IamNotPerfect hashtag.

Syed said he was not a perfect person or a perfect Muslim, but was working on improving himself in the future.

“Like any other person, I have made mistakes, but the past does not define who I am now,” he said, adding that the attacks against him will not deter him from continuing his struggle to make Malaysia a better place.

“I am not someone important. I am a 23-year-old guy who loves his country. Threatening me with my personal life shows how desperate people can get to cling on to power.

“If you think this issue will distract me and the people from the real issues, you are wrong. We, Malaysians, will prove you wrong.”
