It’s already coming to a month since the 62-year-old pastor, Raymond Koh, was kidnapped by a group of masked men when the victim was driving to his friend’s place on February 13.
It was reported that incident had taken place on Jalan SS4B/10 which was just less than 100 metres from the Police Housing Complex in Kelana Jaya. He was last seen driving in his silver Honda Accord, ST 5515 D.
His family and friends are still keeping their hopes high that they would be able to reunite with the pastor. They are even giving out a reward of RM100,000 for any information regarding his whereabouts!
However, all of the ‘limelight’ of Koh’s kidnapping case is only putting him in danger according to Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar. He even bluntly made a remark at today’s press conference that took place in Equatorial Hotel in Bayan Lepas, Penang, today.
“You are only putting the life of the pastor in danger. We have cases where kidnappers will hold on to the victim for months, and they will only respond when it is safe to respond.”
“I would like to ask everyone to allow us to do our work and not put his life in danger. To be blunt, I would say please shut up!”
If you are wondering why did this undesirable event even took place…according to Free Malaysia Today, it all started when JAIS raided a peaceful charity event that the pastor had organised. Things took a big toll after that, as JAIS were so wrong with their silly assumption that Pastor Raymond Koh was converting Malays to Christianity.
Even after that event, it was apparent that Koh had received a bullet in the mail as a warning.
There’s no further information regarding his abductors or why he was even kidnapped but a bunch of CCTV recordings did prove that whoever is behind this, must have been a big person as the men who carried out the dirty work seemed highly experienced!
